Lift to the 2nd floor, room 22 is a split level room to small seating area with small tv and large ensuite bathroom. Parking to rear and across the road to the historic dockyard. Excellent breakfast in a lovely open plan dining room.

The staff at reception and at breakfast were really helpful and friendly. The location in the centre of Southsea was perfect for my stay. It was close to the sea and the restaurants. The cleaning staff allowed me to check out an hour late, which was perfect for me to prepare for the long journey home, and for which I was very thankful.

Good sized rooms (budget doubles booked) with double beds (Can't separate to twins) with large bathroom, tv and kettle etc. Access to swimming pool with extra towels provided at reception. Bar area downstairs. Great breakfast buffet kids ate well. Lots of things to look at - paintings and models. Location - 5 mins from entrance to historic dockyard and 7 from Portsmouth harbour train station, maybe 10 mins from gunwarf keys shopping area.
Short walking distance to Portsmouth Harbour train station, ferries and the historic dockyard. Close to the train station is a new shopping mall and the Spinacker tower. Passenger ferry to Isle of Wight starts at Portsmouth Harbour.
Lovely clean apartment in a fabulous location. 2 mins walk to shops, restaurants & bars. 20 mins walk to southsea beach, 30 mins walk to portsmouth harbour/city. Everything we needed for our 3 nights stay. The beds were comfy. Big TV. Towels, few toiletries/toilet roll, tea/coffee/sugar, washing up liquid & sponge provided. Would defo stay again.
The hotel is in a great location, directly opposite Portsmouth Harbour rail station, and the Spinnaker tower. It's a very old building with old naval artefacts and documents on display. It's a very interesting place.
The young lady at the reception desk on Friday evening was really friendly and helpful. There was a pleasant gentleman there too. Our room was homely and very clean with a wonderful view.

It's about half hour walk into Portsmouth harbour but there is a frequent bus service a few minutes walk away.

I like the location of the hotel. It is away from the busy area of Gunwharf Quay in a more residential part so better for parking and a bit quieter but still accessible for seeing Portsmouth Harbour.
The flat was comfortable & decor was clean & neutral. A parking space for the weekend was very much appreciated as a lot of accomodation doesn't offer this. Location was perfect for walking into the main area of Southsea, Portsmouth harbour area, the beach etc if you don't mind a bit of a trek. There were some shops, bars & restaurants within a few minutes walk.
We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman in reception, who gave us our room key and asked about our car in the car park. We went up to our room and were pleasantly surprised by the wonderful view of the Portsmouth harbour.
The room was clean and tidy and looked very welcoming.
We had a good nights sleep followed by a lovely cooked breakfast served by a very friendly young lady. We will definitely come again!
