Location/ free parking / free WiFi and an excellent range at breakfast to cater for all people.
Maybe a double plug as most people like to charge there phones and put the kettle on together. ( othis is only a minor issue)
Perfectly located at the gates to The Cathedral Close and ten minutes to Stonehenge. The Chapter House is steeped in history and culture.

As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted by very welcoming friendly staff. The friendliness and helpfulness continued throughout our visit.
Chapter House is a mix of historic charm and modernity. The stairs to the bedrooms are safe but charmingly wonky ( the hotel is 600 years old)! Our bedroom had original beams and beautiful heavy curtains, a very comfortable bed and modern ensuite.
We ate in the restaurant and the food was tasty . Breakfast was delicious.
Plus, it is so very close to Salisbury Cathedral, shops and pub/ restaurants!

Beautiful building with lovely views over the river and to the cathedral. Pleasant walk into the city centre and the historical area.
A little far out for easy access to restaurants but mitigated by a free shuttle service.
Milford Hall Hotel - Newly Refurbished is in the heart of this ancient city, just a short walk from the shopping area and cathedral, and is ideally located for visiting Stonehenge.

Here you get an incredible feeling as if you are plunging into the past, especially if you come alone, without a tour. Be sure to stand at the top of the fortress wall and admire the stunning view of Salisbury.
Porton is very pleasant village and a decent overnight stay on the way from Salisbury to Bath in terms of value for money. We were offered a comfortable room with a bathtub and shower, spacious and with a beautiful view.

Entry to the outer circle is free.
Entry to the outer circle is free. Parking is £3 for the whole day, which can be avoided by parking outside and climbing a steep hill. The views from the outer circle are good and you can see the surrounding countryside, Salisbury and it’s cathedral.

You can view a section of Old Sarum without paying but you can't take away from English Heritage site so I don't mind paying. There are various English heritage sites so depending on what you plan on seeing, check ahead and see if it would be cheaper for you to get an annual.pass with them. All in all a very educating site, lovely shop where I bought some lovely earings 😊

Centrally located, we visited most of the key tourist attractions: Stonehenge, Old Sarum, Salisbury Cathedral, the iconic Constable painting walk etc. Good choice of places to eat.
The Greyhound offered me everything I wanted and expected from an 'Inn with rooms'. The evening meal was delicious and I didn't feel uncomfortable as solo traveller. A great little town to explore - the riverside walk, the Italianate church and easy access to Salisbury park and ride and to Old Sarum.
Great location, friendly, helpful and polite staff, no request was too much for them. Lovely bar and restaurant, amazing food. Comfortable bed, great amenities, clean room. Within walking distance to Salisbury Cathedral, and 15 mins away from Old Sarum and Wilton House.
Great location for cathedral and main centre. Only 20 minutes drive to old sarum and Stonehenge.
Beautiful setting on river Avon.
Good breakfast.
Clean nice hotel.
Room was spacious and comfortable bed.
Friendly staff.
Good car park.
We came to Salisbury because I was doing a Skydive in Old Sarum and needed somewhere nearby to stay. Very clean apartment. Comfortable bed, slept ok.
Walking distance to town centre and there is a coop about 10 min walk away. We had an issue with our key ( our own fault) I contacted Barbara and she came within 10 mins and sorted it for us.
Brilliant location in easy reach of Stonehenge, Old Sarum and Salisbury.
Cooked breakfast was a must and delicious.
Room was spacious and had USB charger plug sockets by the bedside
Ideal location. 12-15 minute walk into city centre and 25 mins to Old Sarum. Quicker by car of course and plenty of parking. Pleasant park very close with kids play apparatus.
