Boasting breathtaking views over the harbour, this luxury apart-hotel is ideally situated on the promenade in the commercial area of Douglas, on the picturesque Isle of Man.

Self check-in was nice (if you are prepared and have written down the code). Nice to have en-suite bathroom and underfloor heating and temperature controller in the room. Excellent location - quiet but close to shops, Manx Museum and Douglas promenade, Sea Terminal and buses. Communal kitchen was handy. The hostel manager was kind and helpful.
We were made to feel very welcome by the owners and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was superb and served up in style in a beautifully decorated room. The entire property was spotless and very well maintained. The location was perfect, midway between the Electric Tram and Steam Train and within easy walking distance to the shopping centre, cafes, beach, ferry terminal and Manx Museum. Because the owners were so amenable it made for a lovely friendly atmosphere in the Devonian.
