This historic country inn has delicious food and luxury rooms. It is within a few km of the famous Celtic Manor Resort, home of the 2010 Ryder Cup. The Old Barn Inn dates back to the early 1750s.

With free Wi-Fi and free private parking, Days Inn Magor is situated less than half a mile from Magor town centre and 15 minutes’ drive from Newport.

The Receptionist was very helpful, friendly and welcoming as you would expect. It's a hotel on a Motorway service's (if you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs) it was clean & tidy. It had extra pillow's if you needed them, a variety of tea bags and coffee, so you can make it in your room, a hair dryer (we didn't use it) free WiFi, free overnight parking, bottled water, the hand soap and body wash in the bathroom were surprisingly nice, didn't dry your skin out.
There is the food court right next door (M's is 24/7) you can eat in or take away. We had Vegan breakfast burgers from Leon, we've never tried Leon before, they did the job. WHSmith, Costa there were some smaller food stands just outside, however we got in late Saturday & left early Sunday so they weren't open. There's plenty of options for everyone.

Love this hotel and been here a few times, room was amazing as always and so was the food, however only negative this time would be that we pay the extra money than a regular hotel due to having 2 children and therefore the swimming facilities make up for this. But only got 5 minutes in the pool and it was closed not to the hotels fault but having a child be sick in the pool therefore takes away the payment of extra for facilities on this occasion which couldn't be used
