As someone who travels for work and stays in lots of hotels and B&Bs I can say this has been one of the best! Lovely big cosy room that was immaculately clean in a lovely quiet location. Huge bed and I slept really well but more importantly felt very safe.
We had eve meal and breakfast in the pub and food was lovely and all staff so helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back!

The staff were super helpful and friendly. We loved the facilities of the swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. They have a lovely playground our toddler enjoyed and the short walk to the beach via sand dunes was also super convenient. We went outside of school holidays and it was quiet and relaxing. I also liked that it was owned by a trade union.

Beautiful resort with very welcoming staff. The restaurant were excellent at accommodating my food intolerances amd all of the food was delicious. Our room was spacious and clean. The activities were fun with very patient instructors.

The B&B was a lovely family run business in a great location. The staff were warm and friendly, the breakfast was delicious and everything was clean and tidy. We were travelling to Lundy Island after our stay here and the owners of the B&B provided really helpful advice on the best place to park our car while we were away - we really appreciated this as it made things much easier.
Excellent studio property right in the centre of the town. Located near the historic bridge. The kitchen was well appointed but the nature of our stay meant we didn't use it for cooking. Plenty of places for take away food with a few minutes walk and ideally situated for an early start for a trip to Lundy Island. Hosts lived on site and were friendly and helpful with parking. It was possible to stop temporarily outside the property to drop off luggage.
Beautiful cottage in idyllic location. Within 100 metres of the South West Coastal path - easy walking to Hartland Point, Clovelly & with a great view of Lundy Island. Very helpful onsite hosts who are lovely people.
Staying at Lower Winsford was a pitstop before travelling to Lundy Island. It was only about a 5 min drive to Bideford Quay. I had booked a single room, but was upgraded to a double! I did not get to meet the host due to timings, but she was very helpful via text messages. The room and bathroom were very clean and well kept. The shower was phenomenal! Bed was very comfy. I wish I could have stayed longer.
Location was perfect for an early start to sail to Lundy Island. 5 min walk to the Riverbank long stay carpark. Good selection of breakfast items. Loved all the little condiment pots. Shower was ace. Very friendly hosts. Comfy bed.
