Cruachan Hotel, hotel in Onich

Situated in the shadows of Ben Nevis and overlooking the picturesque Loch Linnhe, this hotel offers bed and breakfast accommodation 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of Fort William.

Excellent location across from the water and only a short walk to the Main Street. The room was lovely, clean and with all the nice little touches. We unfortunately did not have time to utilise the bar or restaurant but the did look nice. We only stayed one night on our way through town but I wish we could have stayed longer. Overall the hotel is very aesthetically pleasing and I would definitely stay again.

The cottage was immaculate, located a few minutes drive from Fort William and Glen coe for the wonderful hiking. The views over Loch Linnhe are beautiful. Fresh milk in the fridge upon arrival with a box of shortbread which was very thoughtful. The beds were so comfortable. Will definitely be back.

I didn't book breakfast which was not included and was overpriced. The room was clean and tidy but the shower was small and the doors didn't work properly. The view over Loch Linnhe was excellent as my room overlookled the loch but there was no air conditioning which necessitated the windows being kept open. The road along the lochside is a busy arterial road and traffic noise was intrusive in the early morning. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.
