Would give it 9.5 as nothing is perfect, but Booking.com doesn't allow that, hence a 10. It is nothing fancy, but it doesn't need to be. The room was proper, clean and comfortable. The breakfast had a good arrange of choices. Value for money this is probably one of the better accommodations we have stayed at. Staff was really helpful and friendly.

Every interaction with staff from check-in, ordering food in the evening and breakfast service in the morning was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and went above and beyond to have a chat and check that I was happy with everything. The food was delicious, fresh, hot and very tasty. Room was exceptionally clean and plenty of extra towels/tea/coffee etc.

Take a good long look at each of the statues of the different Monarchs of England on the outside of the Cathedral—each holds a unique object that relates to an important aspect of their reign. For example, William I holds The Doomsday Book, while William II clutches a bow and arrow (he was accidentally killed by a stray arrow while hunting in the New Forrest), etc.

The bed was very comfortable and the towels and bath mat were lovely and soft. The room was well proportioned for 2 people. We had a parking space. It was a great location to walk to Lichfield cathedral and town. John was pleasant and informative. Nice shower and room overall. Would have left better review if it weren't for the traffic noise. Spoiled our stay.

The hotel was located in an ideal location, near to the Lichfield Cathedral and in walking distance of the town centre. They dont provide evening meals, however their sister restaurant does and if you book there and show the waitress your hotel booking card, you get 20% off your meal and drinks. There are a lot of eateries in the town centre, so you are spoilt for choices there.

The beds were comfortable, and overall a well kept modern place. The host was lovely and was very helpful and quick to answer any queries we had.

In a great location to get to Lichfield Cathedral. Bed was comfortable there were extra pillows . The room was spacious as it was a family room so had a double bed and a single. The tv was a smart tv with Netflix. Two mirrors in room and hairdryer as well as a room width table/desk and chair by the window Staff were lovely and very kindly looked after our luggage after we checked out so we could go visit family and pick it up later.
