This hotel is absolutely great. Our room was large and had good facilities. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast is excellent. The location was also excellent for our purposes. There is a free parking lot right in front of the hotel, which we used. As we were traveling with our dog, we really liked the large green area in front of the hotel and the Greenwich Park nearby. It is also only a few minutes walk to Blackheath station and from there you can get to central London very quickly by train. The next time we come to London, we will definitely book The Clarendon Hotel again!

Greenwich Park
East meets west at the Prime Meridian Line in historic Greenwich Park. Once a royal hunting ground, this leafy space is now a peaceful retreat for Londoners looking to stroll, cycle or sunbathe. Crowning the park from its hilltop perch, the Royal Observatory is quite a climb but the views alone are well worth the walk.

Take the Docklands Light Railway from the city centre.
Take the Docklands Light Railway from the city centre. You'll pass through Canary Wharf and Docklands and when you leave you'll see the Cutty Sark tea clipper that sailed from China to London many times. Then walk to the National Maritime Museum and through Greenwich Park where you can see the National Observatory and look out over a great panorama of London. Return to the other side of the Thames via the tunnel which is quite an experience, though not at all creepy! You can pick up your return train there.

Christopher was very helpful and accommodating and pleasant.
It is in a great location with a lovely cafe on the ground floor and several shops very close by. Greenwich Park is just a short walk away or you can get the frequent buses directly to the main attractions in Greenwich IE the maritime museum the kitty hawk etc.
The apartment was very clean and spacious and had the convenience of a washing machine and a dishwasher
It also had a lift which worked well and was very convenient for me as I have mobility issues. Very quiet at night.
