This place had everything and more. Hugely comfortable and a great breakfast. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Very convenient for visiting Glamis castle. The hosts were speedy in answering queries and suggestions for places to eat.
A pretty and clean (the sheets and towels smelt good too!) room+bathroom, a good bearkfast and the host is adorable. The location is a bit isolated (10 minutes away from Glamis Castle though which was nice) but thanks to that, the view is absolutely amazing with fields, trees, mountains and birds all around! If you're looking for a pretty, confortable and calm place to stay, I totally recommend it!
Comfortable beds, clean and good facilities. excellent hosts.
Really quiet private caravan site, well maintained with lovely surrounding scenery.
Dog and child friendly!
Perfect location for walkers/dog walks and family days out! Places we went to were soldiers leap (killiecrankie), queen's view, Glenclova/Glen doll, Glamis Castle and Brechin
all within 1-1.5hr drive and well worth it for the views!
The breakfast at Glamis Castle was very good. The venison black pudding tasted delicious. The staff were very friendly and took an interest in why we were at Glamis House.
I had a special food intolerance which was catered for. Host was very friendly and helpful , explaining where the town was good places to eat . We wanted to go for a walk and he gave us some suggestions.
Went as going to Glamis Castle, which was only 15 mins away...
I liked especially the warm welcome from Bruce, the owner. He is a sprightly elder person, with a good and interesting conversation, giving a very home-y feeling to the overall stay. Breakfast was abundant. Not far from Glamis castle. Bedrooms are nice, clean and bright. Very comfortable. Nice little personal touches here and there.
We really liked this hotel - central location in town but good parking
W had a large really comfortable room , breakfast and dinner were good and the staff were really charming !
Very convenient for a visit to Glamis Castle
The property was amazingly situated in the countryside. Equipped with modern amenities, warm and very cosy. It was pure escapism away from the hustle and bustle from city life. A delightful welcome pack of milk, bread, eggs, jam and butter. Plenty of opportunities to walk in the countryside, a number of interesting local attractions, Glamis Castle to visit and explore.
