The house was lovely and clean when we arrived and was also nice and warm when we got there. Hosts responded to queries quickly and we didn't have any issues while staying. My youngest has some sensory sensitivities so didn't want to go in the hot tub but with the steps up he still enjoyed feeling the water with his hands. My eldest, my husband and myself enjoyed it - particularly with the wonderful view of the stars on a clear night. Location was lovely and peaceful and easily accessible. We all had a wonderful time.

Loch of the lowes (Osprey in summer), wintering ducks - Dunkeld.
RSPB Kirriemuir - Beaver, wintering ducks and geese, otters.
Montrose Basin (bit further afield) - Superb viewing centre and 40,000 geese come in each night so dusk is amazing.

Blairgowrie itself is not up to much, but it is well situated for access to other locations of interest; Dunkeld, Perth, Beamer, Cairngorms, as well activities such as hiking, cycling and golf. 2 golf courses in Blairgowrie itself ( both very good), 2 in Alyth also good and one at Strathmore which is ok - I played them in October so probably not in thier best shape but still pretty good. Walks along the river Erich are beautiful. I recommend the 3 witches cafe near Burrelton- good coffee, cakes/treats and wheelchair access

Blairgowrie is a lovely little town, but there seemed to be a lot of evening boy racers around the town, making lots of noise. There are plenty of takeaway and food delivery places available, as well as sit in restaurants.

A well appointed town with good large shops on the outskirts. The old town centre is a bit run down, but pleasant enough. There is a lovely walk from the town centre along the river bank. Staying in Blairgowrie gives access to attractions nearby. Everything we wanted to see was within 30 minutes drive. Not a highland town, The highlands are 30 miles north.

The Lodge is a short walking distance to all facilities in town. We had lunch at The Dome (good traditional home cooked food, excellent
cakes and coffee). Evening meals - there are Chinese, Indian and Chippy take aways which we did not try but looked busy. We had a nice meal at Little's restaurant and a cheap one in Wetherspoons which was OK. There is also Angus Hotel for meals which we've used previously.
Nice walk along the river and back into town. Easy drive to Scone to walk the Quarrymill trails and enjoy the Macmillan Cafe and Scone Arms Hotel for lunch. In Spring nice trip to see the Ospreys at Loch of Lowes and Dunkeld & Birnam.

Lovely location by the river, walking distance to town. Lodge was warm and cosy. Kay was super helpful and has set up the accommodations perfectly. The lodges are a perfect base to explore this part of Scotland. Blairgowrie is a well equipped town, can recommend The Wee Coffee Shop for breakfast and Littles, a converted church, for dinner!! The spectacular Glenshee Ski Slopes are just a short drive away.
For peace and quiet with the opportunity to explore, the Ericht Lodges are perfect. We will be going back as soon as possible 👍

A lovely cottage - just a very short drive outside Blairgowrie (a bit far to walk). All mod cons and very comfy beds - nice and quiet for a good night's sleep. We will use this again on our return to the area.
