Lovely hotel, great location to bars, shops and restaurants etc. Very clean, room was amazing with sea view, breakfast was fantastic. Extra little touches made it special, highly recommend.

We were on the 4th floor.Sea view room. It was perfect. Bathroom was spotless.We had dinner in the bar each evening and was gorgeous and very reasonable more than enough.The bar staff were very friendly and the people cleaning the rooms were very good.Location was great walking distance to everything. In other reviews people complained about the lift.Well I have to say we were there for 6 days and we were not left waiting. Would go back there in a heart beat.Thank you to all in The Empress Hotel for making our holiday such a happy event.

Convenient apartments on the quay of Douglas near all shops and Gaiety Theatre. Very modern and clean. Really friendly welcome by staff. Great location for restaurants. Next time will book apartment if return facing quay
Beautiful location on the Promenade over looking the Bay. Close to main mall. Didn't eat breakfast here. The room was spacious and comfortable. Stayed 2 nights. Next to Gaiety theatre. If you're interested in bike racing or stunning scenery Isle of Man is for you.
The location is perfect, very close to the shops, the park, good restaurants, the Gaiety Theatre and other amenities, yet wonderfully quiet. The room was comfy with a big window and Megan the host was so helpful and charming. Would definitely stay here again. It was so quiet and private, there were other guests, but I hardly heard them at all.
