Quick check-in, nice restaurant. The room cosy, warm, clean with nice view. The bathroom was ok. The mirror in the bathroom hangs way too high but there is additional mirror on the door which was more convenient to use. The staff in the morning was very nice, polite and the snacks from the restaurant worth trying. The wifi was working great on the phone, but not on the laptop for some reasons. The views and the location are great. The hotel doesn't have their own parking, the charge is £5 for using the city parking spaces if they are available

Room was beautifully decorated and styled. Staff couldn't do enough to help, so friendly and happy to take the time to chat, valued when you're travelling alone. The restaurant downstairs is amazing. Make sure to book in! Breakfast was a very good: High end fry up. Choice of eggs. Toast and marmalade/ jam.

Had a low expectation, this was lower. Not fit for purpose. Very poor condition. Handed key back and did not stay. What a waste of a superb vista. Owner, why not bring it up to standard. This could be fab with the right input and guidance.

So very surprised - in a great way.
So very surprised - in a great way. The harbour Arm is a great feature, traveling on my own, I was able to sit and watch the open air cinema, and have a supper - great choice of outlets, and a drink. The whole area around the old harbour is just a joy, with a great atmosphere. Came to stay for just the night to catch the shuttle early next morning, but will come back - to spend time in folkestone!

The Royal Norfolk Hotel is an older property, which is reflected in the rooms, which are clean and comfortable and the pub/restaurant/outside space are all very cozy and welcoming. Truly the best part of our stay were the staff, mum Alison and son Ollie were so lovely and made us feel very much at home. Close to the beach and there is a bus stop very near to take you into Folkestone Harbour. We will be back for a longer stay!
This charming hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Folkestone harbour, making it an ideal choice for those seeking seaside adventures. The hotel is pet-friendly, with an additional supplement of £20 for furry companions. While guests can enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel's bar downstairs, it's unfortunate that dogs are not permitted in that area
Great location, lovely bed, sea view and staff very friendly. Lovely walk along the promenade to Folkestone Harbour. We were getting Le Tunnel the next day so staying at Folkestone removes all the stress of the journey down. Didn't eat there at night but breakfast was spot on.
Excellent location, overlooking Folkestone Harbour. Great views of the Railway viaduct, and the renovated railway station.
Only had one meal, that was really good fish & chips. Beer was also good. Very friendly staff.
All the rooms are in the process of being decorated, so the decorater told me !
I booked a single basic room but hotel upgraded me to a premier room overlooking the harbour.
Amazing view of sunrise over the white cliffs of Dover.
The cabaret in the bar area was excellent very good George Micheal tribute singer and comedian!
Would recommend asking for room with a view of Folkestone harbour.
