We wanted a hotel just to come in and rest after dropping our daughter to university. The location and the room were ideal for our stay. Having the pub and mcdonalds right opposite was an added advantage.

Great location, quiet room. Comfy beds and plenty of pillows. Shower water pressure was good and had a bathtub. Great value and free parking were very handy. Staff were friendly and also kind enough to let us park in the carpark before our check in time while we wandered around town.

Good value hotel only a few minutes walk from Derby train station. Very helpful staff (especially the guy who checked me in at 2am! Single room was compact but had everything I needed.
The reception staff were very helpful with any queries and, made suggestions for visiting places of interest in the local vicinity. Very conveniently located between Derby train station and Derby bus station. All the staff at the hotel went above and beyond my expectations.

Perfect location right near Derby train station and a few mins walk to the main centre. The pillows were the comfiest pillows we’ve ever had at any hotel and we’ve stayed in so many!
In general it exceeded my expectations. Neat old hotel with its own charm. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were decent (I assume they are the same every day though, so might get stale after a while).
Located right outside of Derby train station, very convenient. Perfect location for Download Festival attendees :)
