This was our second time coming to Sygun Fawr and we are were just as happy as the first time!
The team at Sygun are very sweet and sociable. Also very kind!
The location is beautiful, with mountains right behind the hotel. There are beautiful and well kept gardens, and the rooms are also very lovely, cosy and clean, with very comfortable beds.
The location of the hotel itself is also very close to many hiking trails, as well as small towns to visit.
In terms of food, breakfast was delicious, with a large selection of items on the menu. Dinner was also very lovely, all the meals were hearty and warm, and very flavourful.
They also operate an honesty bar which was lovely. Overall the feeling was very cosy and homey.
Will be coming back again and again!

Mark and Louise were wonderful, kind, caring hosts. Very welcoming and helpful when asked about the area so we could find things to do. Breakfast was homemade by them, to order, brilliant quality of food and cooked with love. Friendly vibes, not noisy. Only a quite road between the front door and the beach. Free parking right outside. Incredibly convenient. Lovely town and people too, and lovely beaches. Criccieth Castle was good value for money too. I would def go back and I'd be using Awel Mor for my stay!
Superb apartment in a great location for visiting Snowdonia. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Fantastic views of Criccieth Castle. Private parking for 2 cars at the rear, which was great, particularly when there were lots of visitors using the on street parking. Would definitely visit and book again high recommended.

Beautiful setting only a 5 minute drive to the beach/Criccieth Castle and a great base to explore north wales. The accommodation exceeded our expectations and has been refurbished to a high standard…the Netflix and board games were an added bonus as a family! The hosts were amazing and even gave us a lift to a local wedding venue. Communication prior to arrival was also excellent.

There is a lift to all floors.
The Tudor Suite is brilliantly decorated and furnished in the Tudor style, but with all the mod cons you would expect in a high end hotel.
The view of Criccieth Castle was breath-taking.
Ample tea and coffee making equipment and biscuits and welsh cakes too.
Sian and John were wonderful friendly hosts. Nothing was too much trouble.
