We were later than our scheduled arrival due to motorway closures, when we arrived our room key was all ready for us and given to us by a very helpful member of your staff. The staff in the restaurant overseeing the breakfasts were very polite and courteous.

Swindon is great for being a central base with lots of choices (so many!) for pubs, breakfast, coffee, dinner, nightlife, while making day trips to explore the Cotswolds, Stonehenge, Oxford, Bath, Marlborough, horseback riding, hiking, and charming villages of Wiltshire. Multiple buses from all directions stop there, as does the National Express coach service from Heathrow, plus there's the train and taxis.
Old Town is the place to stay to get the most out of your visit. Closer to the train station there are some vacant properties and it's a bit rougher around the edges.

I really liked Swindon. I traveled by train.
I really liked Swindon. I traveled by train. Train was on time, it was clean, kept informed of where we were, easy to get tickets, all simple no probs. If you wanted to travel by bus it’s a stone throw away from the train station. A short walk to the city centre. Plenty of shops to spend your money in. Plenty of place to eat. I sat in cafe and had a jacket potato and a tea £10 bargin! All good. Would definitely return.

We didn't have time to explore very much on a one night trip, but we were impressed with the cycle infrastructure and the variety of restaurants and pubs, though some areas of the town were a little run down and shady.
The bigWe rode through Lydiard park and were very impressed with it as a nice destination. Seemed like a lovely place to go with friends and family for a picnic and a walk or to jog or cycle around.

I used to live in Swindon and there are parts to avoid, ann the bottom of town isn't what it used to be, but for a great night out, there is Old Town. For country walks there is Lydiard Park and Coate Water. The surrounding villages and towns and close to the Cotswolds, Swindon is great for a central point

I stayed here for a course being held at the venue.
My stay was perfectly comfortable, clean and facilities just right.
Breakfast was delicious. It would've been nice to have the option of an evening meal.
Overall, I was very happy with my stay.
Everything!! Fantastic location the room size was excellent along with the cleanliness. Room was on the top floor [Penthouse Suite Lol] great views overlooking Swindon and lovely breakfast!! Internet connection was not the best but that was not a particular issue or effect our stay to much. Friendly polite staff we look forward to staying again and excellent value for money that exceeded our expectations!! Well done Holiday Inn Express Swindon City Centre.
I’ve been working a few weekends nearby and find rooms do become available at the last minute which is handy. I’ve always had a comfortable stay here, usually for a few hours overnight. Due to this, I don’t usually get a chance to explore the property or sample the menu. Reviews are quite mixed regarding the food fare so may eventually try it if back in the vicinity. This hotel has always provided a relatively pleasant stay.
The hotel/conference centre is attached to the Manor House with a large park. The whole site makes a very positive impression. The Manor is very well restored. Hotel is probably recently refurbished. The price is very moderate. Restaurant is not expensive and good enough. Staff is friendly and helpful.
I can it truly recommend for the stay around Swindon.
Reception staff friendly and helpful. Free coffee machine in reception, great breakfast included in price. Bedroom bright, clean and airy, comfy bed. Bathroom small and basic but good shower + bath. Excellent value for money. Centre of town, station a few minutes walk and with parking close by. Can't fault it! My go-to hotel in Swindon.
The property was clean and tidy. I love the spacious living room, all facilities were working fine. Convenient location at West Swindon. 15 minutes drive to town centre. I was given clear directions to the property and how to get the key. Very easy walk from asda- 4 min. A lot of greenery and parks nearby.
The location is great... Very well positioned for walking around Swindon, if you like walking (which we do). Close to shops, local attractions e.g. Steam Museum, etc and only 10mins up Victoria Road to the Old Town. Preferable to staying in a hotel, I would say.
Simple modern decor, large bed, options of pillows, blackout curtains, not noisy. Our room seemed to be for disabled, so bathroom was very large. Hotel is close to the train station and town centre, and was also short walk to our car rental place.
Stayed for business and the hotel was fantastic with a great location for travel routes, excellent/clean facilities and friendly helpful staff.
The food was also delicious.
Would recommend and I’ll stay again if I’m ever in the area.
The hotel was centrally located in the Old Town of Swindon which is home to plenty of pubs and eateries and is not too far to walk to the New Town or the railway station. The breakfast was very reasonable for the additional £4 outlay.
The apartment was clean, tidy, comfortable and well maintained. Good communication in the lead up to our stay and the location was close to Swindon town centre.
The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay!
We stayed at the King's to be close to the Swindon bus station for shuttle bus to Raf Fairford. It was ideal for being close enough to the bus station to walk.
