I booked three rooms for my family travelling from New Zealand . All pricing in UK seems expensive to us due to our dollar exchange however once adjusting we feel the Hotel good value.

Most of all the front desk staff but also the location (at the bottom of Princes Street and right in New Town). There were a few items missing from my room but they were immediately provided when requested. This hotel is a bit pricey but well worth the cost and convenience. It has been recently redecorated which makes it even more comfortable, although I found the bed a bit hard.

Firstly we were greeted by a lovely lady who gave advice on spots to see and places to go. We arrived early morning before check in but were able to leave our luggage in a secure room while we were exploring the city. The decor and room were spectacular, clean and tidy and even for a junior suite was exceptionally spacious and light. Reception staff were amazing and helpful. I did mention that it was a surprise birthday trip for my partner, and that it was his first time in Edinburgh, and they kindly left a card and gift on arrival which was a thoughtful touch. We both loved our weekend stay and if we come to Edinburgh again this will be the first place I will look for. Thank you all so much it was all very much appreciated
