The staff were very helpful. The room was spotlessly clean, and although we were at the front near the station, it was extremely quiet.

Hotel has a grand entrance and is well maintained. There is a resturant and bar onsite and it is in the centre of Carlilse. Check in and out was easy too.

Close to Carlisle railway station and the town centre. Great location if you want to jump on a (Northern) train and take scenic journeys round the Cumbrian Coast, Settle & Carlisle line and Newcastle and the Metro Centre. You must ask for these Round Robin tickets. Nice included breakfast. Price I was charged was good. The history associated with Carlisle.
