The location/premises was chosen for peace and quiet, and to ensure we had somewhere safe and secure to park our expensive motorcycle for 2 nights.
Our aim was to spend a whole day exploring Annecy and the lake, which we did by using public transport (be advised, Annecy is a super-busy place to drive in and find parking).
This is a totally self-catering accommodation service, but there's a Lidl and boulangerie within 10-15 minute walk (through a beautiful and peaceful residential estate).
Annecy lake is a 1-minute walk from the accommodation, and the views are nothing short of spectacular.
The nearest bus stop is a 10-minute walk (near Lidl), ask the driver to take you to Annecy Gare.
Annecy itself is a truly amazing medieval town, plus there's the modern part of the town too - if you like your shopping. Otherwise stay in the old part of the town, but make sure you walk down to the lake to appreciate just how beautiful this part of France is... wow!
