The are two great things about this property. First, it is literally across the road from the Overlord Museum which is ‘a must’ if you are visiting key D Day sites. Second, it is only a mile away from the American Cemetery, another key location. Since we were travelling by bikes these were important considerations for us.
Location was good for us but you must have a car. Very tiny village but easy to drive from one point of interest to the next. Extremely quiet. Very important location on Omaha Beach. Beach, cemetary and Overlord Museum are all MUST see's. Owner supplied everything for a comfortable few nights stay. Would recommend going to the Harbor town for dinner.
Location is perfect. Easy to walk to Overlord museum and American cemetery. Gite is large, plenty of space for a family. Well designed and private with large patio area. Private Parking at the door. Charming host.
