The hotel is located a short walk from the old city walls. There is parking on site, which was very convenient. We parked outside for free, but they also have secure, covered parking under the building. There is an elevator, making it handy to manage baggage. Lots of things to do in Aix, a university town with a vibrant atmosphere.Unfortunately the Cezanne Atelier was closed during our visit. We did visit the Caumont Museum which was excellent, the Tapestry Museum and the Vasarely Foundation, which was stunning.
The breakfast buffet was ample and varied Plenty of coffee options. Seating inside or outdoors on nice days.

Ideally positioned to enjoy Aix and with the great advantage of private parking. The staff were all delightful and helpful. Our room was quiet (double glazing) and comfortable for sleeping or sitting. Particularly liked the terrace, the bar and snacks and the breakfast was really superb.

I had a large room with a kitchenette just up the road from the hotel in a beautiful little square with the church and the Granet museum.
