Very friendly & happy staff, the room was very big & exceptionally clean. Airconditioning worked well. The car parking was very secure and I felt certain that my motorbike would be there in the morning. The staff were very attentive and spoke excellent English.

De vibe of the hotel was excellent. Nice historic and French. Very friendly staff. Top location at the Loire river (tip: always book a room with Loire river view, my tip, it's worth it!). Breakfast was also great. And it was in the city center almost, so a few minutes walk, along the Loire, to all you need

Restored château after World War II damage. Interesting Museum of Hunting housed inside, very informative, whether or not one approves of hunting. Château is not furnished as it would have been when lived in. Good views over historic town.
