Great views from our room. Plenty of space . Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very good although they might have had a few more options. Did not have dinner there although several people indicated it was excellent. Location was a short drive to the center of town and close to many activities.

Amazing place to stay - a must in Chamonix! You cannot beat this location or views. We loved being able to stay and enjoy the scenery after the crowds went home. The room was lovely and comfortable - large, warm, excellent shower. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to come back next time we're in Cham.

If you are unable to make reservations online as we were...
If you are unable to make reservations online as we were they do save spaces on the first few gondolas for the climbers. We were able to exchange our ticket for later in the day for a very early gondola which we needed for our plans. Information desk outside the Midi was very helpful for us.

Check weather forecast and pick sunniest day. Go regardless it’s fun. When get up to Aguille du midi, go to cashiers booth to see if cable car to helbronner is operating and buy ticket there ( booth opens at 9am if cablecar is running as weather dependent.) was really gorgeous.

Absolutely spectacular.
Absolutely spectacular. Will literally take your breath away when you get to the top as the air is thin - you're almost 4km above sea level at the top. The views are incredible. Strongly recommend you go in the morning to avoid the clouds as they generally roll in during the afternoon and will obscure your views. We spent a good 3 hours up the top exploring and enjoying the views.

Go early or late in the day as reservations fill up very quickly. If you plan on skiing the Valle Blanche then go very early and enjoy a long day. If your simply sightseeing then only go on a completely clear day so that you can see the valley and Mont Blanc.

We had problems to find the direction to get to the entrance...
We had problems to find the direction to get to the entrance we used our Google maps to get there but if was confusing to search just Aiguille du midi! You need to search Aiguille du midi téléférique if you are driving to find the parking and entrance easily.

The place is amazing with a lots of interesting historical and engineering information. You should spend at least 3-4 hr ( up and down ).
You can do some hiking , starting from the middle station ( around 2200 meters height ) .

Excellent location in center of all and only a 7 minute walk to aiguille du midi cablecar and chamonix sud bus station and very close to train station too. beautiful view of mt blanc from breakfast room and room, helpful staff. Location perfect for accessing the Aiguille du Midi gondola. The staff at the hotel and restaurants were all helpful, friendly, and professional. The room was huge and beautiful with a gorgeous view of Mont Blanc.
The hotel is in a great location, nestled close to the mountains and only a short walk from the center of town and the cable car to l'Aiguille du Midi. The train station is next door, and using the train to get around the valley is very convenient. We went at the end of July, and Chamonix is absolutely beautiful during the summer months. We all would return in a heartbeat.
The hotel is close to everything. We walked from the Chamonix Sud to the hotel. The bus stop to Domain is across the street, City Center is right there. Easy walk to the Aiguille du Midi. For us it was the perfect location.
The hotel is modern and clean with an exceptional restaurant. It was a long walk from the train station with bags but located adjacent to the Aiguille du Midi bottom station and was close to the main street in Chamonix. The desk staff was helpful, but unaware that there was a laundromat located nearby on the main street.
The hotel is right next to the regional bus station, which was great for me arriving to Chamonix by bus in rainy weather. It is about a <10 min walk to the main tourist drag, but I appreciated being in a more quiet area. And it's only a few minutes' walk to the Aiguille du Midi cable car station. The room size was more than adequate for a solo traveler, and maybe even for a couple. The bed was comfortable and the shower pressure was great. I would stay here again.
This was a fantastic apartment; spacious, clean, conveniently located to city center and aiguille du midi, and spacious free parking under the building.
The staff was helpful and knowledgeable about Chamonix. Julie gave us some excellent dining recommendations.
