We stayed in room 701 on the top floor with a balcony terrace. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed. The hotel is located a short 5 minute walk from the main bars and restaurants and very close to the beach. We couldn’t fault our stay and amazing value for money.

Hotel location was good however there are extensive building works taking place next door which was not clear at booking, which meant drilling and v noisy. On arrival I had asked for room away from the building works as I would not have booked had I known about the works - sadly this request was ignored.
On the first night we had paid for a suite and I was led to believe breakfast was included ( via email exchanges), sadly at check out the front of house staff was v rude and insisted I pay for breakfast. I explained that I had thought it was included and I also explained I had not complained about the room even though it was noisy and not what I had imagined. The reception area is open and small and an embarrassing exchange took place between myself and the front of staff. The front of house staff could clearly see I was upset as the conversation was loud and uncomfortable but she persisted. The email did not say I had to pay for breakfast had it done so we would have eaten outside the hotel. If you are looking for good customer service and value for money don't choose this hotel. They ignore your requests and are rude at reception. The staff at breakfast were good and the standard of food was good however I have not been treated this badly by hotel staff before and we travel quite a lot.

Location spot on with a sea view staff were brilliant and helpful
Hotel San Sebastian Orly Affiliated by Melia is located in central San Sebastián, 100 metres from the famous La Concha Beach. The hotel offers spacious rooms with city or sea views.

Perfect location, in the old part of town. You are at walking distance to many attractions, beaches of Zurriola and Kontxa, Monte Urgull. Even the bus station is not that far by foot (15min.) The area has many shops, restaurants, bars, supermarkets. The room/bathroom size were fine.
Very good location, in old town, next to the basilica. Many good pintxo bars in same street. Beaches and river were also very close. Access to the monte Urgull was from the other side of the basilica. Man who welcomed us was very nice and friendly and he gave us map with all the must see places and good pintxo bars.
Pension was in old house and it is very beautiful inside and outside.
We were very happy that we chose this place and San Sebastian is just so very beautiful.
