The host Candaida, was amazing, she made us feel so welcome and at home! The property was lovely, really nice inside and designed herself. The property was very clean and comfy with everything we needed for our stay. Candaida’s food was fantastic, with a wonderful home cooked spread for breakfast including a freshly baked orange cake! The property is a little remote, but easy to get transport to sights, towns and beaches. Will definitely stay again, thank you Candaida

The accommodation is on the eastern edge of Espargos, a 400 CV Escudo trip from the airport. The room was large, beds comfortable, and whilst there was no A/C, the room was cool enough for good sleep. The breakfast consisted of coffee and two slices of toast with two fried eggs. The owner was helpful and boiled water for me on two occasions for coffee. Payment must be made in local currency though there are ATMs in the town and currency exchange booth at the airport.
