Buddha Zen Hotel is a beautiful facility & we had a gorgeous room - very comfortable suite with full living room and bedroom with a large canopy bed, there was a big shower, also bedroom and living room balconies..
We were in a lively, tourist neighbourhood with 2 temples - can be very busy with tourists, but you are still able to worship.
There is lots of street-side and in-store shopping and there's great food everywhere you go!
The Metro (very easy) is also just 2 blocks away, with the most amazing sandwich shop just behind the 'K' entrance on street level - you'll probably see a line-up and it's worth it!
Buddha Zen was a really nice place to stay, and hosted us while we explored a great area in Chengdu. Thank you!

We loved the hotel! We were looking for a comfortable place to rest while visiting Chengdú and we found the best place. The location is perfect, you can easily walk around the city center from here. The apartment was really nice, with plenty of space and beautiful views.The washmaschine with dryer was really convinient for us, after some weeks travelling through China and many more to come, doing the Laundry in such a comfortable way help us a lot! We can not be more Happy with the personal, especially with the recepcionists that arrange for us some taxis to move around the town.
We would have loved to stay many more days here!

The Manager Frank went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and his english speaking was impeciable..Zoey and Kimberley the two front of house girls were extremely helpful with organising whatever or where ever you needed to go again there English was on song..
The hotel itself offers a nice and simple but good breakfast.
Rooms were clean. beds and pillows perfect.
I would seriously recommend this hotel to everyone..

Looks beautiful from the outside, with lovely relaxing water features. The hotel is also located on a beautiful road really close to a subway station and within walking distance of the Kuanzhai Alleys. Rooms were modern and made us of technology well. Staff were very friendly and always ready to help. Breakfast was a nice spread of both Western and Chinese stapled, with the option to have a fresh bowl of soup noodles made for you!

Really nice hotel to stay in Chengdú. All staff speak English and are kind and help with everything - on my last day my flight was early in the morning and I had to leave before 5am so they offered to prepare a sandwich for breakfast, which was great!
I stayed in a shared female bedroom and I had everything I needed and it was comfortable and clean.
It's really close to Wenshu Monastery, but a bit far from other turistic places. Even though, Chengdu is a big city and you'd need to use taxi or metro anyway.

The hotel is beautiful, with an inner courtyard which is nicely decorated. The room was very spacious and had an ample terrace. The location is fantastic, very close to Wenshu monastery and to the subway station. The staff at the front desk did not speak English but were extremely kind and helpful. They booked the Panda Centre tickets for us, as well as a show for the traditional Sichuan theatre.
The hotel is absolutely stunning, from the architecture to the decoration. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and an opportunity to try chinese style breakfast.
The location was perfect, near the Wenshu Monastery and a quick walk to the metro, with lots of shops and restaurants around.
Overall, an amazing experience which I highly recommend and I hope to be back again one day.
Well located, just over 10 minutes from the metro and a 15-minute walk from Wenshu Monastery. Close to convenience stores and cheap restaurants. If you don't mind the smell of cigarrettes in the common areas and are looking for something cheap, even if not very comfortable, it might be a good option for a few nights. Wi-Fi works very well.

Everything is excellent. I stayed here 6 years ago and was happy to visit this place again. Good location (15 min by feet from metro Wenshu monastery, in historical center of city), it's easy to find using google maps. Personal speaks very fluent English, they are very friendly. There are different activities (like party) in this hotel. Room is very clean, coffe-machine and bar in lobby, wi-fi works good. Thank you for all.
