We enjoyed staying at Fanjian Inn. Everything was tidy, the staff was friendly and welcoming, the room was spacious. We genuinely enjoyed wandering the Muslim neighbourhood a lot and stumbling from one little hidden gem to the next.

The hotel is located less than 10 min by walk from Yongningmen Station; run by the main line which connects to Xi’an North train station (45 min).
The hotel is newly refurbished, no lift but they only have 1 floor.
There is a laundry area, where you can use the washing machine and dryer for free, and they even provide you with the detergents.
Ventilation is amazing, as well as water pressure. The rooms are smoking rooms, but you can’t really tell because you can’t smell cigarettes.

The Bell Tower is pretty, especially lit up at night, but I preferred the Muslim Quarter (brilliant food market) which is literally just round the corner. There are so many restaurants and food stalls to eat yourself stupid! The best place to visit in Xi’an : )

Perfect place in the middle of the old part of Xian. Bell Tower, Drum Tower, City Wall just few hundred meters far from the hotel. Beautiful old streets with noninterchangeable atmosphere. Especially at nights 😍! Clean nice room for really good price.
The location, the Drum & Bell towers and City Wall are only about 20min walk. We found a great restaurant within 6min walk from the hotel. We found a short street with interesting shops and cafes that is less than 10min walk from the hotel.
The hotel is modern and with comfortable rooms; It Is Very clean; the staff Is Kind and speaks english. The hotel Is located Very close tò the drum and Bell Tower ( Few Minutes by walk)
The hotel’s location is great as it is close to the Bell Tower from where we took a shuttle to the terracotta warriors and there are lots of little restaurants close by. The breakfast was very good (everything tasty and lots of variety). Staff was friendly too.
The hotel is new, modern, cozy and comfortable! It was amazing! Rooms are beautifully furnished. The area is really quiet allowing for great sleep and rest. In just a few minutes of walking you are in the heart of town near the bell tower! Friendly and helpful staff!
I stayed at Desti with my 24-year old son and we had one of the hotel twin suites with a bathroom. The room was very reasonably priced.

This is definitely a youth hostel with young guests but I felt welcomed.

Amazing experience at a comfortable, clean hotel with very friendly and open staff. The location is 10/10, in the very center of Xi'an, walking distance from the Muslim quarter and Bell Tower. The rooms were clean and the area was quite despite its center location. 10/10, would definitely visit again.
