I couldn’t believe that such a basic hotel with nothing to offer could exist. Parking under it was the best of all. When you are cold you can not switch off the AC- you have to open the window to let warm air in/ hoping that the weather is warm. Security wise, anyone can take the elevator from the car park to any floor without going through reception with no security check at all. No wardrobe, not even a drawer to put clothes in. Ok for an overnight stay, not longer. I could not understand the receptionist either.

I contacted hotel to verify air conditioning would be fully functioning when I arrived the room was very warm
went to front desk to report it and was told it was hotel policy not to run air conditioning to cool rooms to acceptable levels.
And that I should just open the window. Asked to speak to a manager and was told there was not one, that the lone one was on vacation. So no management on site. I call B/S on this, but could not talk to ne. I have tried multiple to contact Prizeotel by Radison and no response. Leads me to believe they do not care for their customer comfort.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

The hotel was around 10 minutes from the centre of Bern by train. The reception were very friendly and efficient. A free welcome drink was offered during the checking in. The rooms were a good size for twin beds. Very clean and modern bathroom. Walking distance from the Train and Wankdorf Stadium. The train to central bern only takes 5-6 minutes.
Great location for Bern old town and Wankdorf Stadium. Room was nice but equipment was spare. Coffee/tea was free at the morning buffet even that we didn’t buy breakfast at the hotel. Nice surprice that parking in the undergrund garage was free. Wonderful roof-terracce bar. A Big Coop Supermarket very close by.
The bedroom was very quiet ,with good Air con, the bed comfortable, shower excellent with good water pressure, large TV with YouTube, very good buffet breakfast with hot food ( sausages/bacon/eggs/pancakes/waffles ), friendly helpful staff. Good transport links with train and bus station opposite. Easy walking distance to Wankdorf stadium.

Check-in was also fast and all keys are digital.
Room was super nice and comfy. Really great interior design. It has kitchen complete with cookware, dishwasher, induction cooker, microwave oven, etc.
