If you are training to Lugano and have substantial luggage, the location could not be more convenient. Simply hop on the funicular in the train station, it's right there, walk off and you'll see the sign for Luguanodante. Very cool, upscale boutique hotel, walkable to central Lugano, parks and the Lake. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent. While not our cheapest accomodation, or meal in Switzerland, it was worth it. Wonderful breakfast provided too!
