The food and the staff was very nice. The location is not too far from the beach or the town center. There are cots available on request. They changed pur towels on a daily basis even though we never asked for it, they also mopped the floors every day in our room.

Nice spacious rooms, a beach, and a pedestrian area are close to the hotel. Two big pools are great, after 23:00 everything is peaceful. The air conditioner in the room is great. The food in the restaurant is delicious, the cook is very good.

Rooms, especially bathrooms hadn't been cleaned in a while and this sucked, since I chose this hotel for the advertised cleanliness. Also, the hotel never made public the fact that it didn't have an elevator...we were given rooms on the third floor and we are in our late sixties...I asked for a lower floor (they had rooms on lower floors but they refused)...I would not recommend this hotel to my enemies !

Golden Sands is a modern resort, with beautiful and interesting buildings where the useful combines beautifully with the functional.
The natural setting is pleasant and diversified, located at the mountain and sea junction. The access roads are well maintained and can be easily reached from the city of Varna or the airport in Burgas.
The most unpleasant part is the crowding and the lack of parking spaces.

The people crowd in small non-private areas.
The private beach zones are very expensive, aprox. 42 LV for 1 umbrella and 2 chaise lounges.

We were glad our hotel was at the end of the boulevard from Golden Sands, so it was nice and calm, no noise from partying people and loud bars or cafe's Glad I didn't book a hotel in the middle of the hustle and bustle because that would have cost us a lot of sleep.... We didn't go out for a drink of dinner because our hotel provided us with this. We just walked and looked around what was for sale in the many stalls with clothes and bags and touristic stuff you can buy abroad.

Pretty standard East European seaside resort. Beach filled with cigarette butts, with dirty umbrellas and beach furniture. A lot of shops eith overpriced items, and restauranta with mostly overpriced foods. Some kids attractions that might be interesting for them for a few days.
A good hotel with good services .The facilities , services and food for THE LEVEL were ok .I would probably have expected a bit more diversity in food options and maybe a higher quality. This type of 5 * VIP services are normally coming with live cooking stations and a more fine dining approach, but I would say it was ok for Bulgaria.The LEVEL room was a good size and the AI services satisfying. The kids had a lot of fun trying the water slides and rope park.
What a hidden gem!! Had a wonderful stay! The hotel is near the beautiful bulgarian beach, food was great, I especially enjoyed the yummy breakfast. The staff was really kind and helpful, gave me some great tips for activities to do around. Will recommend and visit again for sufe. Thank you, palma hotel for the wonderful stay!
For less than the price of a double room at a 3* hotel I got a full size apartment with free parking and just 2 minutes away from the central beach. They offer different kinds of apartments so if you pay a little extra you will get a bigger better apartment
