The food and the staff was very nice. The location is not too far from the beach or the town center. There are cots available on request. They changed pur towels on a daily basis even though we never asked for it, they also mopped the floors every day in our room.

Staff were excellent, the manager meets all guests explains how the hotel works for meals and drinks, also shows you to your room and makes sure you are happy with it. There is plenty of choice at meal time. The swimming pool is clean and the pool areas are kept tidy. there are plenty of place to sit and sun loungers.

Rooms, especially bathrooms hadn't been cleaned in a while and this sucked, since I chose this hotel for the advertised cleanliness. Also, the hotel never made public the fact that it didn't have an elevator...we were given rooms on the third floor and we are in our late sixties...I asked for a lower floor (they had rooms on lower floors but they refused)...I would not recommend this hotel to my enemies !

Golden Sands is a modern resort, with beautiful and interesting buildings where the useful combines beautifully with the functional.
The natural setting is pleasant and diversified, located at the mountain and sea junction. The access roads are well maintained and can be easily reached from the city of Varna or the airport in Burgas.
The most unpleasant part is the crowding and the lack of parking spaces.

The beach contains too many private zones, they are used only when the people don't have room to use personal sheets.
The people crowd in small non-private areas.
The private beach zones are very expensive, aprox. 42 LV for 1 umbrella and 2 chaise lounges.

I recomend that in some days like Friday or Saturday to have a orchestra that will entertain people at the dinner.
I have noticed that hotels that have such evenings are highly sought after and appreciated by Romanians.

We were glad our hotel was at the end of the boulevard from Golden Sands, so it was nice and calm, no noise from partying people and loud bars or cafe's Glad I didn't book a hotel in the middle of the hustle and bustle because that would have cost us a lot of sleep.... We didn't go out for a drink of dinner because our hotel provided us with this. We just walked and looked around what was for sale in the many stalls with clothes and bags and touristic stuff you can buy abroad.

Pretty standard East European seaside resort. Beach filled with cigarette butts, with dirty umbrellas and beach furniture. A lot of shops eith overpriced items, and restauranta with mostly overpriced foods. Some kids attractions that might be interesting for them for a few days.
NOTHING regarding the hotel, everything was awful. The ONLY THING i liked that in one of the days they served pork stake, not minced meat like bulgarians use to do. The loby is nice, but the sewer smells like....just from the loby..imagine the bathrooms. Pool and garden are nice also, too bad for the whole experience. Hotel's staff is friendly, youg guys.
The location is great, it's absolutely hotel for family with children. The food was good, there were no queue at the bar. The were few people in outdoor and indoor pool, but the sunbeds were almost covered with someone's towel. The staff speaks bulgarian, romanian, russian and english. It is about 7 minutes walk to the beach.
Exceptional service for breakfast, lunch, dinner and both bars. Extensive choise of meals - European and Bulgarian cuisine and variety of drinks. Very hospitable staff, always ready to help. Interesting entartainment in the evenings, engaging the guests of the hotel. My family is delighted of their stay at Moko Beach.
one thing I would really like to point out is that this is one of the few..maybe the only? :) hotel to have coffee from actual coffee beans and not instant coffee like 99.9% of all Bulgarian facilities have. Congrats!
