A little out of town, which suited us well. We were in the"Barn" extension, may sound basic, but far from it. Spacious, comfortable, well appointed, with character.. private with an ouside seating area looking out over the fields and forrest catching the afternoon and setting sun. Very tranquil, "William Turner" like softness.
It'd be difficult to better the breakfasts, Individual fresh fruit salads, bread, cheeses, sliced meats and encouragement to make "take-away" whatever you wished for a later snack (more like a meal). Aluminium foil provided.... Ever experienced that before ?
Lovely hostess, quite charming and helpful with suggestions and directions.

Everything was essentially really good, staff were lovely and very accomodating, I would highly recommend the booking. Breakfast was fantastic, some of the freshest we've ever had. The surrounding area is also a massive plus, very relaxing and pleasent.

We managed to have breakfast outdoors one day and with the animals in the background it was idyllic
The food at breakfast was plentiful - scrambled eggs freshly laid by the chickens at the farm. Our toddler loved exploring the playground
Gwen provided a lovely clean and comfortable cot in our room and a high chair at breakfast for our toddler
Loppem Castle, a five minute drive away, is worth a walk around and Speedy Snacks in the town was great for a quick dinner after walking around all day
There is a supermarket five minutes drive away too for provisions
