We previously visited Mayrhofen and the beautiful Hotel, Glockenstuhl way back in 2011 when we indulged in some very novice skiiing!
We'd had a lovely experience but regretfully hadn't had chance to go back in the interim, so this was something we were really looking forward to and certainly didn't disappoint.
This is a beautiful family run hotel with a thoroughly welcoming and relaxing vibe. Proprietor Elizabeth (and her super helpful sister Margaret) ensured we had a lovely apartment lounge/bedroom/mini kitchen setup with en suite bathroom and loo. View over the alps from our room was breathtaking.
Atmosphere was invariably relaxed and welcoming and facilities were first rate. There's an amazing wellness centre located in the basement with an elevator allowing you to go straight from your floor to the basement and discreetly enter.
We were there every evening and our skin is now like velvet!
Breakfast offered a wide range of fruits, breads, eggs, bacon and various meats plus fruit juices, tea and coffee. We were stuffed until teatime!
