The staff were very friendly and attentive. We arrived on a rest-day, yet the restaurant offered a 4-course dinner, which was made with local or home grown ingredients and was very flavorful. We liked the chefs approach very much. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and absolutely delicious too. The spa area offered many different saunas, pool area was peaceful.

The host. What a charming lady. Warm, welcoming and made us feel at home. The room was fantastic with its own balcony, dining area and kitchenette. Pretty furnishings and spotlessly clean.
Cared for gardens and dog friendly. Breakfast was served until 9.30am but dogs understandably are not allowed in the restaurant, but you can pick up things to eat and sit outside.

A really nice hotel with good facilities. We did a lot of self-catering. Friendly and helpful staff. A lovely location. Mayrhofen was ideal for reaching adventurous walks in the mountains.
The apartment had two rooms and a beautiful hall. It is a hotel apartment, very clean. All amenities and cooking utensils are available in the apartment. In short, a wonderful apartment. Thank you, Josefa, for your quick response. You were friendly, which increased my family and I’s desire to live in the beautiful Mayrhofen.
The apartment and rooms were more spacious than we expected. You get an authentic austrian experience in this guest house. The host (Roman) was very welcoming and was always available for questions or recommendations. There was space to store our ski equipment and on the last day we were allowed to store our personal belongings in the dining area until after skiing. The center of Mayrhofen is 10-15 min walk and the apartment is very quiet, not at all bothered by other residents.
The hotel was in an excellent position. A 5 minute walk into Mayrhofen centre but in a quiet position. The apartment was spacious and well presented with a balcony overlooking the garden and the mountains.

Location, the hotel is located in the middle of the Mayrhofen, next to the Penkenbahn lift. Also furniture was like I visit my grandpa’s house, restored old typical austria furniture (at least my room).
The hotel gave us everything we looked for in an hotel. The food was quite excellent with a slight Austrian flavour, whilst the staff in this family run hotel were very friendly and helpful. The location suited us well as we planned to do as much walking as we could, and it was in a good position for the ski lifts. We were there in June so skiing wasn’t on our agenda. Mayrhofen itself is quite charming with all the facilities that we would look for.
We absolutely loved Neuhaus, incredible hotel with an authentic Austrian feel. It is in the perfect location with the ski shuttle bus right down the road at Mayrhofen Bahnhof, the breakfast was amazing, our room was cleaned every day and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Would definitely come again!
Very friendly staff at check-in and generally a really nice little hotel at the start of the "strip".. ie. the street with all the restaurants and pubs, and of course the "Penkenbahn"... the gondola liftoff spot for the Mayrhofen ski resort. Breakfast is tops (as is normal in Austria) with fresh "Semmeln" almost still warm from the local bakery. Love coming back year after year with the family! Mayrhofen is world class
Had a great stay at Apart Matthias. Fabulously appointed and spotlessly clean. Appointed more like a boutique hotel than a holiday apartment. The owner family are very hard working, professional but also very friendly and approachable. The location of the apartment is perfect too. Only a 5 minute walk to the main street of Mayrhofen but in a nice quiet spot with easy parking. Mayrhofen was a fantastic base for hiking and sightseeing. I'll certainly return and I'll be booking my accommodation at Apart Matthius. Highly recommended.
