Sölden is a great place to go for a ski holiday. If you are with kids Giggijoch is where you want to ski as 3 ski schools are having their offices there.
If you prefer less beginners on the slops, the other gondolas to the left of Giggijoch are better.
There's plenty of accommodation, restaurants, supermarkets and ski rental shops in the village. Also doctors and pharmacies are available as well as pools and saunas.

Excellent ski resort with pistes for all levels especially advanced skiers will like some of the steeps and icy patches. Great infrastructure and eateries on the mountain. Acres-ski and nightlife rivals St. Anton and Ischgl.

Sölden is easily accessed via a scenic route through the Otztal valley, one hour’s drive from Innsbruck. Frequent public transport occurs by train and a regional bus service.
The town of Sölden is situated at an altitude of 1377 m. Skiers can explore up to 3250 meters above sea level, comprising 34 slope kilometers via its comprehensive and efficient ski lift network. Magnificent 360 views of the alps and its glaciers. Snow very likely in off peak season with resultant no or minimal ski lift queues. If you’re a 007-Bond fan, do not miss the one of its kind ‘Elements’ installation at 3058m!
The town provides abundantly with good value accommodation, warm hospitality and traditional tirolean food. Free bus shuttles between the two ski lift/ gondola stations in town. Make use of the ski equipment depots available at these stations to leave your gear overnight.

The city is buzzing with energy and offers fantastic options for outdoor activities. Beautiful scenery and wonderful Alps invite you to slow down and spend some time contemplating the nature, hiking or cycling during the summer and to skiing during winter. The city has got numerous accommodation at its disposal, from cosy small hotels to large facilities offering excuisite level of services, excellent food and relaxation options. Multiple restaurants encourage to step in for a bite or swig. This beautiful area was used as a set for movie superproduction of all times, you can visit 007 museum and see for yourself.

Solden clean , several sports stores with good sportswear. You can rent bicycles .There is a pharmacy, a post office, There is a bus that goes to the villages of Vent and Obergurgl. Lots of very nice mountain trails.....
We had a really nice stay at Hotel Alpina Sölden. The room was great, it felt very cozy and at home. Breakfast was superb, there was so much to choose from and all very fresh and tasty. The location was great, a little away from the busiest part of town so no noise at night. It was a little walk to the skilifts but not too far. In the morning the staff from the hotel would take us there by taxi for free, so that was really great.
The staff was nice and helpful.

A brand new hotel with a perfect location. For me it’s easy access to cabin to go to ski was very nice and my family enjoyed the outdoor pool and sauna. the design of the apartment was modern and practical but it still needs some decorations and devices inside and outside to be perfect(as the hotel is very new I can understand that they are finalizing last things…)
we like the idea of free afternoons snacks and drinks and the coffee machine was the best part for me.
I strongly recommend this hotel.
This was our first trip abroad in nearly 2 years and Mr Brugger went out of his way to ensure we were fully Covid compliant and everything was safe and comfortable. We traveled with children aged between 12-17 and the Austrian rules changed daily and Mr Brugger was able to explain and assist every step from ensuring antigen tests and PCRs. The property was spacious and clean and a short walk to the nearest bus stop into Solden. Registration and all communication was very easy and informative.
Cozy Hotel with lovely staff and a delicious welcome coffee! We enjoyed our stay at Glanzer Homes very much and can only recommend it to anyone going to Sölden. I have asked the staff in advance if they could print out a letter and have it ready in one of the rooms as a surprise which went wonderfully and the surprised faces were heartwarming. Thanks again for the effort and you help all along! I'm happy to come back anytime and see the renovated rooms.
Super cool place, close to the cabin lift in Solden. Ideal stay for skiers, with a renovated storage room, sauna and spacious apartments. Kathrin greeted us and provided some helpful recommendations on the restaurants and activities in the area. In the apartment there was all the necessary equipment, including fridge, coffee machine, kettle and so on. We enjoyed our stay and would come again.
The hotel staff is really nice and professional. We stayed in that newly renovated part of the hotel. Room was clean, spaceous, two TVs with many channels, and with terrace. Hotel is close to ski lifts and gondolas, as well, there is complimentary access for 3 hours to spa that is literaly around the corrner. Restaurant is good, I strongly recommend pizzas there.
The hotel was very pleasant and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and particularly helpful when I broke my phone and needed to find a shop to get a cover for the screen. There is a walking shortcut to town which meant you could walk to the Giggijochbahn in 10 to 15 minutes. It is a steep climb back in the evening but fine if you like hiking.
A nice and tidy pension hotel. Exceptionaly friendly and helpful personnel. Home like atmosphere. Had a feeling of being really welcome. Utmost cleanliness. Private parking lot. Haven't had to use the car at all - 200 m to a ski bus stop, 700 m to Giggijoch skilift and the town's centre. I am looking forward to visiting Schoenblick next season!
Viktoria was nice and helpful. The hotel feels new, deocarted with a good taste. The room and hotel facilities were clean and of high quality.
The location was excellent, just 50m walk from the skibus station to both Obergurgl and Sölden ski areas, 200m/one bus stop from the supermarket.

The apartment had everything we needed and very comfortable to stay in. The back garden was great to sit out and enjoy the view. The beds were especially comfortable. It is within walking distance of Solden's main street where all shops and restaurants are.
The hotel breakfast was truly awesome and wholesomely selected for any taste in breakfast. The morning staff was truly heartwarming and welcoming each morning. Was rich with conversation and made the morning seem like waking up at home with the siblings.
