The room is clean and there's a living room with Netflix. Perfect for watching a movie. We celebrated my birthday here so it was nice that the staff bought us cake. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is modern, spacious and clean. The location is next to a road but far enough from it to not notice it. It's quiet and convenient to continue our road trip.

We stayed there for a few days and were absolutely thrilled: The location directly on the small river is magical and the beautiful bungalows are built in a great bamboo grove. It really comes up with a jungle feeling. The food was very tasty and authentic, real original Thai cuisine. Chef Wirot was incredibly helpful in all matters: shuttle service, great tips for excursions (including his scooter) and even took us on a private Sun Rise tour in the jungle. The food, cooked by Wirot's wife, was very tasty and authentic - real original Thai cuisine. If you want to experience the original Thailand, this is the place for you: we were the only foreigners there. We will visit the Khao Luang again and then definitely again at Wirot in the Kung Nok Tha Resort.

At the hotel guests are welcome to take advantage of a hot tub. Very stylish hotel with exceptionally friendly staff. They even whipped us up some very delicious vegan breakfast on the spot. The location was perfect for us. Very central, right next to a mall, with multiple convenience stores left and right, and across the street from a night market, but strangely not noisy at all. Cleanliness was also top-notch. Everywhere from reception to restaurant to the room was absolutely spotless. The only downside was, from the pictures, we were expecting to have a balcony in our room. There was a balcony, however, it didn't have a door, so we couldn't use it. A bit confusing but not that big a problem.
