Historic factor, uniqueness factor, and privacy of not sharing walls with another unit and a private parking spot. The bed was actually extremely comfortable and I appreciated and very nice comforter on the bed, I can't stand newspaper feeling cheap hotel blankets and this was the exact opposite of that, fantastic.
The bed was amazingly comfortable! The room with a soaking jacuzzi tub was so big and refreshing to be in. Hot water lasted forever! Breakfast was awesome! Everything was very clean - pretty sure it is reasonable new. We stayed all the way to check out time in the morning just because the room was so nice, peaceful and relaxing! Very cute little town!
The room was clean, spacious, and the location was close enough for everything my fiancé and I wanted to do. The staff was very friendly! Breakfast was hot and available for us, which is great because my partner and I are late risers. The bed was soft and the jacuzzi tub in the room was everything I could've asked for. When we go back to Mammoth Cave, we will be staying here!
The room was OK. But dead spiders here and there and long female hairs. Showered went to meet friends came back mid late night. Kept waking up at night. ROACHES were walking on me. They were all over the bathtub having their way with my things. Little baby roaches all over the sink and the walls. AND IN MY BED.
Room was old school will 1 floor and all external entrances to the room. Some advantages to that have been forgotten.
Had a wonderful pool and hot tub.
