Dogo Onsen Yachiyo 道後温泉八千代, hotel in Hōjō

Offering indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths as well as traditional dining with fresh seafood, Dogo Onsen Yachiyo 道後温泉八千代 is a 7-minute walk from Dogo-Onsen Train Station.

The room was as advertised. The staff service was great. They explained how to use the amenities in the room when we arrived and gave us sweets/tea. There was a dining table with 2 doors, 1 at the entrance way and 1 at the living room so the staff doesn't need to pass through the living room to serve you food (for privacy reasons) which I thought was very well designed. We were able to select 3 yukatas for the 3 nights we stayed here. We didn't use the public onsen because we had a private one in the room so no comments on the onsen they have. The tatami room was huge and spacious. The bed was great. Aircon was easy to use. The private open air bath was well decorated with plants.
