Ciudad Vieja, Montevideo
Guest rooms in the inn are equipped with a flat-screen TV. The rooms are equipped with a private bathroom with a bidet and some rooms also feature a balcony. The rooms at FAUNA Montevideo have air conditioning and a desk. Fauna was our favorite stay while traveling through Uruguay. The room was cozy and impressive. The space is exceptional and the hosts were so kind. They helped me book a vineyard tour and always was responsive with helpful tips. While they had coffee and fruit for breakfast, we didn't mind since we wanted to explore local cafes. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone, particularly couples visiting Montevideo and I hope to be back some day!
Carrasco
Located in Carrasco, less than 1 km from Playa Shangrila, Bidieen Inn Uruguay provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The property is around 1.5 km from San Jose de Carrasco Beach, 2.3 km from Playa Lagomar and 18 km from Tres Cruces Terminal Station. The accommodation features meeting and banquet facilities and free WiFi throughout the property. Hospitality is far above average. It feels like home. Freshly cooked breakfast is a full meal and the atmosphere of the garden is peaceful. Rooms are comfortable and quiet.
Hotel is near the airport, 10 minutes drive. There is a restauramt for having lunch an dinner and a good breakfast. Reception is open 24/7. Room and bathroom was clean, and housekeeping clean the second day also.
The location is incredible and lots of choices for coffee and dinners nearly. The wifi was fast so I could work from the hotel when needed. Very helpful and friendly staff, even though I barely know Spanish I could communicate with people. Really liked the mattress.
Breakfast is excellent, the view from the dinner is very nice (you can view the Montevideo´s Docks and part of the western bay), the pool was at the right temperature, very clean and comfortable to use, a lot of accessories available to use (life vest, inflatables toys, etc.). The food served in the top floor restaurant was also excellent. Its an excellent place for a quick stop in Montevideo, its very well located in the old center.
The property is right next to the ocean and our room had beautiful views. We liked the large room looking onto the water. The staff were exceptionally wonderful at the front desk, cleaning and the restaurant. The restaurant had wonderful food both for the breakfasts and the dinner.
Good breakfast with a nice selection of hot/cold foods. Also, restaurant had good food for lunch and dinner. The room was comfortable and spacious with a great view of port. Staff was friendly and helpful.

From beginning to end almost a perfect stay. Check in smooth. Diego was awesome. Room was above great. Wonderful view of the bay. Breakfast was very good. Best orange juice ever.... Location was great, could walk from hotel to the areas of town that I wanted to go. Bed was super comfy. I would stay here again. Had coffee at night a few times and the folks helping me were great.
The hotel is new, the staff is very kind, dinner was spectacular!
