Breakfast was delicious, with a choice between a frittata or French toast; beautiful fruit cup and cheesy hash browns on the side; juice and coffee or tea. A great start to the day, as was a time sitting on the porch, looking at the beautiful gardens. The Primrose is beautifully located, curated, and styled. Though you are very close to the bustle of Bar Harbor's boutiques and restaurants, the property is a study in quiet elegance.

Beautiful property with such a personal touch. Rooms were cosy and comfortable. Shower was lovely. Met nice people and enjoyed breakfast in the sunny breakfast room. Wish we could have stayed longer! Will hopefully be back!

A microwave and a refrigerator are featured in every room at The Inn on Mount Desert. A flat-screen cable TV and a coffee machine are also included in the rooms. Select rooms offer a private balcony or terrace. The entire Inn was spotless! Housekeeping did a wonderful job at keeping not just our room but the whole Inn in pristine condition. There was always hot coffee and snacks in the lobby which was definitely appreciated! All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast was delicious. Also, I loved how the Inn was decorated for Christmas!

Absolutely loved the location - very central to Bar Harbor downtown. Additionally, the property, our room, and its decor were lovely. We were fascinated by how well Camalyne maintained the property and ensured her guests have a comfortable stay. Check-in was hassle-free - much simpler than hotel rooms in fact. The wifi worked well and the bed was super-comfortable. Our host also served us an excellent, sumptuous breakfast the next day. Overall - we highly recommend this place for your stay! I wish we booked another night.

Stayed in the Raven’s Nest, which is its own separate unit. The apartment was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was very spacious and water pressure was good. Contactless check in was quick and easy, even though we arrived after the typical check in hours. The inn is a short walk to the main center of Bar Harbor which is handy since parking is $4/hour otherwise!
Location was perfect--close to the town center but not so close as to be noisy. Beautiful and well maintained older building with an attentive inn keeper.
Everything! The facility is very quaint and lovely and clean. We had dinner and cocktails, which were 5 star, as was breakfast! Big bonus! Walking distance to Main Street so you don’t have to search for available spaces and pay $4 per hour to park!!! Don’t pass this up!!!

After a disappointing stay at an independent harborside motel in Boothbay, our stay at the Hiliday Inn was fantastic. The onsite Lobster Stew restaurant offered a beautiful view and wonderful food. Proximity to Acadia National park and use of the Island Explorer shuttles eliminated the need to drive yourself anywhere. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others and would stay here ourselves if we were in the area.
The Inn id an historical charming house with a nice green backyard and plenty of parking. Breakfast was absolutely lovely and delicious, different everyday with surprise out-of-the-menu treats. The Inn is very central, 5-min walking to downtown/pier area, child-friendly, and the owner is lovely. It is ideal for exploring east Acadia and hiking its famous trails.

Everything, this is simply amazing!. The innkeeper Chris has become a friend for life, such a gentleman and someone who very much cares to ensure you have the best experience possible. The whole stay was just simply wonderful, this has the wow factor! The breakfast and refreshments later in the day, were simply gorgeous, a talented and amazing chef! I really could not recommend this place highly enough, we didnt want to leave!!
