Gets its name from the renovation of several older buildings. Wine and cheese every night in the lounge area. Rooms are spacious, well appointed with small kitchenette and complimentary sodas and sparkling water, cheese and crackers in the refrig. We've stayed here before and will stay here again. Highly recommend

This Mount Pleasant Charleston Clarion Inn is 10 minutes’ drive from historic Charleston city centre and 11.2 km from Isle Palms Beach. Free WiFi, a hot breakfast buffet, and a seasonal outdoor pool are offered. The room was clean and nice. It was spacious. We had a view of the swimming pool from our door. The beds are nice. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. It had a good spread - Waffles, Sausages, Egg, varieties of Corn flakes and Mueslis, Fruits, Yogurts, juices, coffee, baked potatoes, porridges, nutri bars, and bacon. They also had some cookies and fresh drinks kept near the receiption in the afternoon, which people can enjoy. Overall, we had a lovely stay as it is equidistance to the city, Sullivan/Isle of Palm beach and to Boone Hall Plantation. It is also walking distance to Orlando's Pizza and Moe's Southwest Grill.

Breakfast is always good, especially the cinnamon sweet rolls. We stay at this location a couple times a year. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and nice. The "smoking" area near the pool is nice, tables, chairs nice lighting and the greenery is pretty. The location is a short drive into Charleston (historic district).
Clean, newer, small kitchen, comfortable beds , breakfast and dinner included! Good value, and convenient!
CHARMING 7-room inn that greatly exceeded our expectations. We had Room 5 on the 3rd floor with king bed, large leather chair and loveseat, kitchenette, high ceilings and tons of amenities. It was quiet, beautiful, well-appointed, and PERFECT for our anniversary stay!
Evening wine and cheese is a nice touch, as well as Sherry after dinner in the lounge. Courtyards for breakfast or evening drinks are wonderful. Convenient parking in back. Light and bright room with high ceilings and gas fireplace.
It was extremely well located with a 5 minute drive to the (public/free) beach and in a community of shops and restuarants that gave us something to do after dinner and entertain the kids
The amenities and little touches at the this hotel make it a better value and are very enjoyable. I expected a breakfast buffet, but you can also order from a menu and have additional options delivered to your room! The afternoon happy hour is wine but not just cheese, there was a very nice spread more along the lines with full charcuterie. And the evening cookies were fresh baked and delicious. Bikes were available for use and the staff was helpful and friendly. Thank you French Quarter Inn!
Loved the location on the harbor sitting in the large screened in porch. The cottage was well furnished and comfortable, so comfortable we decided to eat some dinners there and not even try to go into Charleston. The cottage was quiet and private and only a short distance from restaurants and shops. Will definitely return again.
