Charleston City Market is 1 minutes' walk from the property. The staff, especially the consigner was fantastic, going out of her way to provide excellent ideas and places to go. The room , the bed, and the bath was great. I would recommend the Planters Inn the best we have stayed in.

Guests can look forward to a deluxe continental breakfast, gym, and seasonal outdoor pool. We enjoyed the breakfast. The hotel is older, but well kept. Our room was clean. We were visiting a very sick family member in a near by hospital and the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The staff gave excellent "walking" directions and we loved the valet parking. It was a plus having a washer and dryer available on our floor.

The College of Charleston, The Citadel and the Charleston International Airport are also just minutes away. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The parking lot was well lit.
