Miss Jen cooked us food straight from their garden and I kid you not. This was by far the best food we ate in Jamaica. You can taste the love and smiles. We had dinner together with other guest and our two hosts with Bob Marley playing in the background. I would recommend skipping the restaurants in Occhie. And no worries, if you prefer a private dinner they will offer you all the space you need. The facilities are just as advertised. But the garden on the hill and the view are amazing. You just can't capture that in a picture. We would have stayed longer if we could have. Going to the local bar with Mr Levi was also a fun experience!!!

Area attractions include the Ritz Theater and Sherling Lake Park. Staff was helpful, liked the overall look of the hotel. Our room was clean, roomy and comfortable. Easy to get on and off the freeway. The price was very competitive.

Dine at one of the many restaurants within walking distance of our Trussville hotel or browse one of the area's boutiques, antique stores and malls. The Talladega Super Speedway is just minutes away in addition to the Barber Motorsports Park. I booked a non smoking room. The room had no smoking signs as well, however there were burn holes in the blankets and sheets. It also smelled like smoke too. The hotel was sold out, so I could not get another room unfortunately. The front desk person was friendly when checking in.
