We stayed 4 nights and had 4 different excellent and tasty breakfasts! A decent sized twin room with comfy beds and room for our big luggages. Ok, yes, the bathroom is on the small end but we thought it rather cute and funny 😁 The warm hospitality of this family is genuine and feels good.

Hori, the owner, was the best! She provided everything that we needed and was very responsive prior and during our stay. The house has 4 toilets, 2 showers, and a washing machine with drying function. The house is very well taken care of. Everythjng is new and worked perfectly. Thank you, Hori!!!

We got caught in a typhoon in Kyoto and the day we were meant to leave all our trains were cancelled to Osaka! The hotel staff were so kind and understanding and allowed us to book an extra night and stay in the same room. On top of this the hotel was absolutely lovely and it was very useful to have laundry facilities available. The beds were nice and soft and a decent sized room, and the hotel was in a really good position to walk to temples and Gion.
