Situated in Ios Chora, within 400 metres of Yialos Beach and 1.2 km of Valmas Beach, Almira Inn features accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi throughout the property. The property is around 1.6 km from Kolitsani Beach, 11 km from Homer's Tomb and 25 km from Monastery of Agios Ioannis. The inn has family rooms. Wonderful, super nice host. Our ferry arrived at 2am in the morning and he was still available for check-in. His freshly baked chocolate cake was delicious too!!! It’s very close to the ferry terminal and only a couple minutes uphill to the city center. The room was very clean.
Everything about this property is 5*. Great hosts. Top quality furniture, towels, showers, pool, bath, kitchen, lounge, all within an awesome view! Place is in a walkable distance from town, but still manages to be completely private. Walkable distance to tavernas, restaurants, bars, clubs, supermarkets, restaurants, and takeaways. Hosts were always on hand to assist with questions ( and when I managed to lock myself out ), nothing was too much hassle for them. Will definitely be returning, cannot wait.
The luxury and elegance of this hotel can't be beat. Staff was accommodating and attentive. Grandma's restaurant was exceptional for dinner. Pool area was stunning and inviting. Proximity to the busline to travel to Mylopotas Beach was nearby and an easy route. This hotel is near Ios Chora.
Super modern nice rooms, the pool was lovely. Amazing location you can walk to the town for dinner takes 20 mins or the beach takes 5 mins. Rooms were modern and cleaned daily.
Wonderful pension in an excellent location in Chora, Ios. Very clean and comfortable room with a nice little balcony. Wonderful and friendly owners and staff. Excellent value!
We had a wonderful stay at Homer’s Inn. Very nice and clean family ran hotel with great hospitality. We booked a small room but received a 4p one. Excellent breakfast with plenty of options. Close to the harbour and to the old city of Chora (both within 15’ walking distance). Excellent value for money
Pension is in a perfect place, walking distance from the port and from the sea. Terrace was lovely, with a nice view on the sea and sunset. Staff was kind and courteous, the offered to pick us up from the ferry and drop us to the pension. It’s a pension, so don’t expect anything fancy, the room has all the necessary and it will be good for 1, maybe 2 nights. Beds are made of masonry, we slept well the first night, but out back felt it on the second, before leaving.
Pension Irene is located just a short walk to the Ferry terminal so perfect if you have a lot of luggage. The port area is small but you can hire transportation/buses to explore the Island from here. The room was clean - had a large fridge and the A/C worked great. The pool area is nice to relax at and the owners are happy to make you coffee throughout the day.
The hotel has a perfect location, right in the beginning of the beautiful Mylopotas beach. They provided free transfers to/from the port, and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable with an albeit small, but nice little balcony (and could see the water). Really good value for money, and staff was welcoming, service-minded and extremely helpful.
