Papingo
Breakfast is provided in the rustic dining area with the wood-carved ceilings. Pies with homemade phyllo, local cheeses and meats are served during lunch and dinner. Coffee and light meals are offered at the snack bar. The Pantheon is an adorable small hotel toward the top of a steep stone village in the amazing Vikos Gorge area. It's a perfect base for hiking to Micro Papigko and for exploring Ottoman bridges and other small villages along winding roads that offer endless spectacular views and glorious trees--a blaze of color in fall. The delightful woman proprietor is hospitable and kind; she serves great breakfasts and comforting dinners, often on a patio with a stunning view. Our cozy room looked directly into black Zagorian peaks, poking in and out of almost mystical cloud, as well as the slate roofs of the village below. To complete the room's cozy warmth, a bride had left her bouquet on the fireplace.
Zagori
The units at the inn come with a flat-screen TV and a safety deposit box. The private bathroom is equipped with a shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer. Guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. Anthrakitis is a beautiful and hidden village and the guesthouse is the ideal place to relax and enjoy the nature. The host was amazing, super nice and very helpful. The breakfast was also exceptional. Overall, our stay was an incredible experience.
Plaka
Facing the Tzoumerka Mountains, this traditional hotel is just 100 metres from the Arachtos River and 5 km from Palaiochori. It offers a warmly decorated cafe restaurant with fireplace. Rafting, kayak and canoe activities can be arranged on site. Was very clean Our hosts were excellent We had a great stay and the river rafting with the family was beyond excellent Our early check in and late checkout was great fully understood Great breakfast Friendliness Information

Location was good, although it was further from the beach. A quiet place to rest
The town is beautiful. The inn is located very close to everything. Parking is a bit tricky if you have a big car or if your driving skills ain’t sharp. The room was clean and decent size. The breakfast was ok. The innkeeper was nice and charming. We had a good time there
Very large room with a nice balcony to sit outside. Awesomwe breakfst in the neighboring tavern (also highly recommended for dinner).
Locanta was amazing for our family. Peggy, the host, met us on arrival, even though it was late at night. It was easy to check in and out. The house is beautiful, outside there is a private front and back yard. The bedrooms were great and the decor was rustic, very charming. We loved the bathroom the best - a huge bath and great shower. The ouzo and biscuits and bread were a great welcome. The location- couldn't be better - right inside the grounds of the Ioaninna castle.
Quick check in\out, very clean, good breakfast. Dimitris kindly received us, recommend where to go and what to see, was constantly in touch with us throughout our stay. We had a great dinner in hotel's taverna. Big size room with comfortable bed, very quiet. Very good Wi-Fi. Parking place near the hotel entrance. Great location for exploring Zagori.
A large room, the hotel is located not far from the center of the village. The receptionist recommended us a nice local taverna for dinner, and arranged a parking spot on the street right next to the hotel (the hotel’s parking lot was full).
Lovely apartment block for our stop after crossing over from Albania. We went to the Fish Taverna Skaloma for dinner and it was gorgeous and only a few minutes drive from the apartment. Great air con aswell!
A brilliant place to stay in Zagori. Lila and Pablo created a place you just don't want to leave. A beautiful courtyard to sit and enjoy the view,cosy rooms and an amazing breakfast. Don't miss the the village taverna for dinner. We just loved everything here.
Traditional family run hotel/guest house, well located in the centre of the village and close to choice of tavernas and cafes. Super friendly and helpful owners who guided us to walks and even dropped by to check I was safely back from one hike. Spacious room, nice balcony with views, terrace for morning breakfasts (though it was getting a bit cold). Would recommend
