Very comfortable and in an annex to the pub so quiet in the evening even when the pub is busy. The breakfast was very nice and the staff welcoming. They always asked what time we want breakfast so it was fast and tasty.

it’s an old inn but everything is redone and very nice inside. the staff was friendly and welcoming. good and drinks were great. plus location off the highway can’t be beat but you still get a small town feeling. If you follow the path out the back of the church up a steep hill you get to a beautiful spot to watch the sunset. highly recommend the bowl inn.

Jake was a great communicator and replied to my questions promptly. The property is so close to Bristol Temple Meads train station. And easy to walk into Bristol from the apartment. The No. 8 bus is a great bus and goes from Bristol Temple Meads station through town to the Clifton Suspension Bridge. The burgers at the Stag and Hounds were delicious. Dinner in Grano Italian restaurant was also great. A super weekend in Bristol. Thank you.
The innkeeper James, Becky and Rachel were welcoming and friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable.
The Airport Tavern is convenient spot to stay when flying from Bristol. My wife and I usually stay elsewhere, but I couldn't find anywhere that had a room, or there was no shuttle bus to the airport. If I were younger that wouldn't have bothered me. The bedroom is a little noisy, being so near to the road, but that was hardly surprising. There's nowhere to hang clothes, again, not surprising. We had dinner and the service was good and the food was better than I expected. My wife and I both enjoyed what we had.
Good sized room and well equipped bathroom, all nicely decorated, with great view of the suspension bridge. Excellent dinner at the restaurant. Nice bar with a good range of cocktails. Good position for nearby shops and restaurants.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all tasty and good value for money. Good to see young cheerful hardworking students in employment whilst completing their studies. The location is great. Literally next to the suspension bridge. Advisable to use the Sion Hill BS8 4BA post code to locate the hotel itself if driving else it keeps stopping in the Hotwell Road location which is the back of the hotel! Beds and pillows are very comfortable. There is free parking on the streets around but not in front of the hotel. A bit pricy but worth it.
Wonderful stay at Hotel du Vin Avon Gorge. Highly recommend a balcony room with a spectacular view of the Clifton Suspension Bridge. Wonderfully comfortable bed. Fabulous dinner in the restaurant with views of the illuminated Clifton Suspension Bridge. Great food & great service.
We had already booked the rest of the week in a different guest house which I had booked online in advance not knowing the existence of Hayward's at Grasmere, but needed two extra days at the beginning and found Hayward's. We just wish we had booked the whole week there. The service, food restaurant, room and whole atmosphere was excellent and we loved it all. The breakfast was superb and we were very comfortable. We can't wait until we go down to Bristol again. It will be first choice then for sure!
Good location with fabulous views of the Clifton suspension bridge particularly from the restaurant and bar. Very comfortable beds and well equipped bathrooms. The restaurant was very good for dinner and the breakfast was excellent.
The hotel is well run; the staff are professional, friendly and seem keen to help. There was a choice of cooked breakfasts and all the ones we had were freshly cooked and good. We had dinner in the hotel one evening. The main courses were unexpectedly large, so we ended up with too much food - but the whole meal was excellent. The view onto the Gorge and suspension bridge (not from the room in our case, but from the dining room and bar) is wonderful.
