From the moment on arrival we were met with smiles and friendliness by (Laura I think that was the woman's name) and both Nicky and Richard made our stay so welcoming. Especially the warm welcome from Jasper the dog. This place is dog friendly but your never bothered by them unless you like too clap them, the locals we met were extremely friendly and happy to chat with you. The owners and staff could not do anything more for you, they went out their way to make your feel like one of the family. We had dinner there, and it was so fresh and tasty (loved the chicken pakora) and the sea bass and steak was cooked to perfection. Breakfast was also good, a selection of cereals, yogurts and fruit to start, then your cooked breakfast was ample and was more than enough to keep you going for the day. We came in as guests and left as friends, we'll be back again to stay and to come for lunch. Thank you all so much for a lovely stay and making us welcome - Mandy and Mike x

Free Wi-Fi, an en suite shower room and a flat-screen TV are featured in each room at The Old Mill Inn. Tea and coffee making facilities are also provided. Lovely staff and a beautiful, neat room. Very well situated. It also has a great restaurant and bar. The rooms were spacious, modern and very pretty, with fantastic bathrooms.

On the banks of the River Tay, situated at the Grandtully rapids, this family-friendly inn is surrounded by scenic Perthshire countryside. It has a stunning riverside restaurant serving a menu using local ingredients and a relaxing bar with a welcoming wood-burning stove. We absolutely loved the Inn on the Tay, the location next to the river Tay is amazing, the room (we had a family room number 5) was very cosy and super clean and nicely decorated, which made us feel like home immediately. The beds were super for chilling and the bar and restaurant were charming and very 'gezellig '. We liked to take a drink and played some games with the family. The owners and personnel were all very sweet, relaxt and helpful. The walk along their river with the dogs was nice and challenging for the dogs by jumping over the rocks.

The friendly bar serves malt whiskies and real ales, and there is regular live music. The Bankfoot Inn has a restaurant offering traditional food, and a full cooked breakfast is provided. The Bankfoot Inn was lovely in every way. The decor on entering was stylish setting a great ambience of the Inn. The room was lovely and very clean. Dinner in Restaurant was delicious and breakfast was absolutely beautiful with great presentation. Would highly recomend this Hotel to any traveller. Best small hotel we have stayed in.

Set in the rural region of Perthshire, the Meikleour Arms is located at the heart of the conservation village of Meikleour, well known for its impressive trees and salmon fishing. Located only 12 miles from Perth, the Meikleour Arms was built in 1820 on one of the oldest historical estates in East Scotland. Everything :) beautiful building with beautiful rooms. The restaurant has really good food which we really enjoyed.

Log fires feature in the lounge area and fresh, local produce is served in the award-winning restaurant. Perth town centre is a 15-minute drive away. Incredible staff. Very helpful and friendly!

Surrounded by the charming town of Crieff, the on-site restaurant blends city chic and a countryside tradition to create a cosy, friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was on offer but we took breakfast on the run on the mornings. Our room was fantastic with lovely views and great space. We could see and hear the geese every morning. The bar food on offer was really good, shame that the restaurant was only open on the weekend.

First opened in 1695 the original Moulin Inn is the oldest part of the hotel, with two log fires and stocked with Real ales produced in the hotel’s own Micro Brewery. Absolutely picturesque. The pub had great food and beer. All of the staff were kind and accommodating.We missed breakfast the next day because we slept in (breakfast is served until 9:30) but they were lovely, we ate from the buffet, and they gave us toast. The area outside the breakfast area is wedding worthy. I would stay here again and again.
