The location was so pretty, easy to find. We arrived later than planned & Mark on reception was wonderful in getting us sorted. Spotless comfy bedroom & fab en-suite. Great breakfast.

The best inn I have ever stayed inn! It's a 1500s building and it is gorgeous and fascinating inside. So much to look at, lovingly and tastefully restored and preserved. See pics. Fantastic staff. I didn't use the pub / restaurant but it looked superb. I did have breakfast which was 10 out of 10, see pic. The location is in the heart of the historic old town, all the streets are narrow and quaint, I managed to find parking up the street, but the whole area wasn't designed for motor cars. Be aware that the many steep stairs are not suitable if you have mobility issues or heavy suitcases, so if that's you call them to discuss your options. See the pic of the paper they gave me to help me navigate the labyrinth! Overall the best historic property I have ever stayed in, and I have travelled a lot. Don't miss staying here!

In the small village of Sheering, this family run Public House offers 12 en-suite bedrooms. The Cock Inn is a family run free house that has been run by the Bedford family for over 20 years. Great character pub with excellent food and staff very helpful & friendly. Room was not large but was comfortable and what I'd expect for pub accommodation. Great value.

Situado na pitoresca cidade de Thaxted, o Swan Hotel está apenas a 12,9 km do Aeroporto de Stansted, em Londres. The staff were really friendly and helpful, it was a short drive to Stanstead airport, the room and the pub itself were really nice. We actually wished we’d got there earlier in the day to explore the town as it looked really nice

Apresentando um terraço, restaurante, bar e acesso Wi-Fi gratuito, Kings Arms Hotel situa-se em Stansted Mountfitchet, a 2 minutos a pé de Estação de Stansted Mountfitchet e 14 km de Audley End House.... Everything, although as we were on the top floor, it did get quite warm overnight and the fan provided didn’t quite cool the room down. Nevertheless, this summer (Autumn, as it’s now mid Sep) has been an Indian one at that with days exceeding 30+ deg.

The Bell Inn is located in Thorpe le Soken. The Inn has a terrace and garden views, free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar (Please check our website for opening... The stay was beyond expecations: nice people, nice food....it all very nice!

A 9,1 km de Audley End House, The Cricketers Clavering dispõe de acomodações de 4 estrelas em Clavering e apresenta um terraço, um restaurante e um bar. What a fantastic surprise! We booked the Cricketers last minute and, although it was late at night and rainy, we managed to find the pub where we were quickly shown to our two rooms. They were both warm and welcoming, with every amenity you could want. My grown daughter was thrilled with her room which was designed with a bit of pink. Ours was a bit more woodland themed and very serene. The bathrooms were top notch and mine was perfectly handicapped accessible. I have limited mobility so I could take a shower without risks. The breakfast was amazing with food cooked to order and many other delicious options. The entire complex is perfect and I wish we could have stayed longer. Nearby market town was SO fascinating for shopping and food!
