Everything about the property was brilliant as it usually is. Lovely setting, lovely food, lovely room and friendly staff.

Really loved staying here, the staff were all really polite and checking in at the pub was really easy, then a short walk across to the hotel itself. The room was very nice clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable too. The dinner/breakfast that we ate at the pub was delicious!
The staff were lovely and although the choice of dinner was limited the chef was good.

Parking at the Inn was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms comfy with easy access. Breakfast was very good with a good choice.
The interior was quaint and the decor in the rooms was in keeping with the age of the Inn. Contemporary with a hint of rustic.

Helpful friendly staff, very good breakfasts, beds were very comfy, all was nice and clean, characterful and historic inn, good base for exploring essex and southern suffolk.
The property is clean and a great location! The staff was very friendly and we had a wonderful stay. The Big Fat Greek Taverna was wonderful for Dinner and Breakfast.
