simple Gite in a fantastic location. Rooms were a good size, very clean and comfortable. Both the evening meal (salad starter, fuck breast with pasta, cheese, and home made tart) and breakfast (croissant, bread, copious coffee, lots of different jams etc.) were first class. locally sourced wine was very drinkable, and at around €15 a bottle, great value.

The hotel is in a lovely quite area with some fantastic roads around. Secure parking is important to us and the owner let us stow our bikes away in his garage at the back of the hotel. The accommodation is clean and tidy and looks newly refurbished. There is nothing else around here apart from a few houses and a church, we opted for the evening meal which was good, breakfast was a selection of rolls & pastries, a bit basic but it's a privately run place and not a big hotel chain. There's a bar and some pub games to keep people occupied in the evening.
Montpezat-sous-Bauzon

We loved our 1 night stay. The hotel is very classy and very well designed. Very art deco.Room was good Bed was comfy. Spa was basic but good. Dinner was just ok.
We stayed at the beginning of July. Property exceeded our expectations. Everything was well thought through, comfortable and clean. The host was lovely and very welcoming! Lake and great walks are just across the road. We fell in love with this place and would definitevely come back here soon and recommend it to our friends.
What a magnificent dinner. A gastronomic delight. Slept in the lap of luxury.
Archiane is a beatiful hamlet in the mountains. Cars have to park a few minutes on foot away. This makes it wonderfully quiet. The house is quirky and rustic, but with modern equipment. Four beds in two rooms at the lower floor, and 4 beds in the attic, plus a resting futon for two people. Large dinner table for all. We greatly enjoyed this place and its surroundings. From there you can start short hikes to see vultures, or long hikes into the mountains.
Such a wonderful find! We spent one night at this guest house and really enjoyed it- the relaxation, seclusion, view, atmosphere and the host were all amazing. The bath Nordic was a lovely experience, the breakfast unique with lots of options made by the host herself. We also had dinner with other guests - a very special experience with the host cooking with herbs and flowers from the garden. Would very much recommend this place for couples and families.
An upmarket guest house in a quiet village. Big room, very nicely furnished with super views from the balcony. Note there are no facilities for eating in the evening and you will have to travel to find dinner. Good breakfast, and nice walks up the road that opens out onto a hillside above the village.
A peaceful location, sense of tranquillity. A little difficult to find with sat nav, single path roads not great if you have a big car. Electric gate ensures secure parking. Lovely house and garden, very rustic, small swimming pool. Friendly welcome. Room very nice, comfortable bed. Excellent table d'hote dinner, high standard of cooking. Nice breakfast with good coffee and home-made produce.
Lovely rustic hotel. Warm and welcoming. Absolutely awesome dinners (half board - set menu), and great breakfast. We also had massage treatments which were much needed after the skiing and left us revitalised.
Amazingly hosted by the best and most hilarious innkeeper Nicolas. This guy is a legendary. The location and the view when having breakfast is super nice. A great place to meet awesome people from all over ! Highly recommendable.
